PPS Interface for LSPs

The PPS Interface is a powerful online tool with which users and LSPs can manage PennNet Phones. However there are differences between the interface presented to users and the interface presented to LSPs.

PPS User Interface

The PPS User interface has options for "Features and Voicemail" and "Proxy Access" only; these are the only two featuresets that users can edit (and only on phones for which they are listed as an "owner"). Below is a screenshot of a typical PPS User interface.

With these interface screens, users (and LSPs) can edit settings for voicemail delivery and notification, voicemail playback settings, passwords, designating proxy access, etc. These feature settings are well-documented on ISC's PennNet Phone website (see "PPS Overview" under "Other Resources" below).

PPS LSP Interface

LSPs are presented with additional features and options when logged into PPS that are not available to users. These additional features control options such as phone ownership, LSP access for specific phones, physical location of the phone itself, etc. Below is a quick summary of these additional options:

LSP Access - used to add or delete LSPs for administrative access for specific phones
Owner Access - used to add or edit primary owner (and additional owners) and to set Caller ID display of specific phones
Phone Set Location - used to specify physical location of phone handset (for 911/511 information)
View Phone Numbers - presents a summary of settings (including vmail, LSP, owner, etc.) for phones supported by the LSP
