(note that these instructions for Outlook Express are not currently importing the appropriate email account - so these instructions have been added to the discussion page while we investigate)

Outlook Express

1. Open Outlook 2007.
2. From the File menu select Import and Export... The Import and Export Wizard will appear.
3. In the Choose an action to perform: dialog box, choose Import Internet Mail and Addresses.
4. Click the Next button. The Outlook Import Tool will appear.
5. In the Select the Internet Mail application to import from: dialog box, choose Outlook Express 4.x, 5.x, 6.x or Windows Mail.
6. Ensure that the Import Mail checkbox is checked and the Import Address book checkbox is unchecked.
7. Click the Finish button.
8. Once imported, the messages will appear in Outlook 2007 - if they were in the inbox in Outlook Express, they'll be added to the Outlook 2007 inbox; if they were in a folder in Outlook Express, a folder of the same name will be created in Outlook 2007. Note that this transfer process may take a substantial amount of time, especially for users with significant amounts of email.
